The appellant challenged the decision of the district judge to allow his extradition, pursuant to a European arrest warrant. He appealed the decision that he had deliberately absented himself from his trial. He also appealed the finding that it would not be unjust or oppressive to extradite the appellant on account of his mental health and the finding that the extradition request was not an abuse of process.
