Disclosure of identity application to be heard by trial judge

Re: Hourani v Thomson & Ors [2017] EWHC 56 (QB)

The claimant submitted a request to disclose the identity of the defendant’s client who had asked the defendant to work on an online campaign to apply pressure on the claimant to surrender to the authorities for a range of crimes. The claim against the defendant was harassment. The Court concluded that the application of disclosure should be heard by the trial judge.

Anthony Hudson QC and Ben Silverstone were involved in this case.
