This case concerned the legality of the arrangements made by the police relating to the retention and disclosure of data relating to a convicted sex offender. Held: the arrangements made by the police were in an accordance with the law and in line with the judgment in R (X) v SSHD [2012] EWHC 2954 (Admin). Further any interference with the claimant’s rights under ECHR, art 8 were proportionate.
