IPSEA, Douglas Silas and Matrix Chambers host new annual SEN Law Conference
On Tuesday 6 March 2018, IPSEA, Douglas Silas and Matrix Chambers hosted a new annual SEN Law Conference at the Law Society in London. This one day specialist SEN Law Conference provided legal and policy updates across all aspects of this fast-moving and developing area of law and was aimed at SEN law professionals.
The conference was chaired by Zoe McCallum and Aidan Wills of Matrix Chambers and speakers included Ali Fiddy (Chief Executive, IPSEA), Mick King (Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman), André Imich (SEN & Disability Professional Adviser, Department for Education), Colin Diamond (Corporate Director, Children and Young People, Birmingham City Council), Douglas Silas (Douglas Silas Solicitors), Judge Jane McConnell, Sarah Hannett (Matrix Chambers) and David Wolfe QC (Matrix Chambers).
