Angeline Welsh speaking at conference celebrating 60 Years of the New York Convention


The New York Convention and European Union Law conference taking place on Friday 23 March celebrates 60 Years of the New York Convention. Angeline Welsh will be speaking as part of a panel discussion on ‘Enforcement of Arbitral Agreements’.

This conference is being organised by the Oxford University Institute of European and Comparative Law and will be held at Christ Church, Oxford. Its overall aim is to examine the relationship between the New York Convention and European Union law. There will be three sessions: the first will be devoted to the relationship between the New York Convention and European Union law generally; the second will discuss the impact of European Union law on the different methods of enforcing arbitration agreements; and the third and final session will consider the enforcement of arbitration awards.
