Defendants acquitted of money laundering charges
HKSAR v Ye Fang & Anor (DCCC 1022/2012)
The two defendants pleaded not guilty to money laundering charges. The Court held that when the inculpatory and exculpatory grounds were considered, it had not been proved beyond reasonable doubt that the defendants had reasonable grounds to believe the money was the proceeds of an indictable crime.
