Forbes, studying for his A-Levels, tells us how he found his week at Matrix:
“I received the wonderful opportunity of a whole work experience week at Matrix Chambers. The first thing that struck me about being the workplace at Matrix was the warmth and friendliness of the staff and barristers at Matrix; this boded well for the rest of the week, during which I interacted with a diverse selection of them.
As well as shadowing some great barristers at court, we were also given the chance to talk with one of the current trainees, Maanas Jain, who informed us about his journey to being at Matrix and his own current experience there.
All things considered, this week at Matrix was not only extremely helpful, but I also found it enthralling and captivating at every moment. A huge thank you to Matrix for all their help and encouragement, and the unique opportunities they have provided for me during this memorable week, which has reinforced my desire to do a Law degree and inspired me to further pursue possibilities of becoming a barrister; Matrix is certainly a place I would love to work.”
