“In my five days of work experience at Matrix, I experienced what it’s really like to work in a barrister’s chambers. I filed documents, made phone calls and went to court everyday to see real cases with real barristers working right in front of me. I met many different people whilst working at Matrix, and they all gave me great advice for what to look out for in the future as I’m preparing for university. They also gave me advice on what to do when I finish university which has really helped me plan ahead for what I’d like to be doing in a few years time. The advice and experience I have picked up in the last five days has really helped me see with my own eyes what life could be like for me in ten years time.
