Team M manage barristers whose practices together, cover a broad range of civil law, falling principally within four areas: Employment, Media and Information, Commercial and Sports law. Cliff HollandCliff HollandCliff joined Matrix in July 2010. He has been working in barristers’ chambers since 1987, having previously worked at Devereux Chambers. Cliff is responsible for managing and promoting the practices of the barristers in Team M which deals with Employment, Media and Information, and Commercial Law. The helpful Cliff Holland impresses all with his positive attitude to instructing solicitors (Chambers UK 2014). His spare time is spent managing the diary of his 9 year old daughter and being taken for walks by his faithful Labrador.

Phillip SalisburyPhillip SalisburyPhilip Joined Matrix in September 2009. He commenced his Clerking career in 1999 at Brick Court Chambers before joining 4 Paper Buildings (now Hailsham Chambers) in 2002. Philip recently achieved a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) through the Open University. When he manages to find some free time in between studying he likes to play squash, scuba dive or snowboard.

Alison ScanesAlison ScanesAlison joined Matrix in January 2015. She started her career at East Anglian Chambers in 1992 and has over 23 years’ clerking experience. Alison lives in Suffolk and in her spare time enjoys socialising with her family and friends and is a keen traveller to warmer climates.

Amy CrittendenAmy CrittendenAmy joined Matrix in October 2006 as an Outdoor and Office Assistant after completing her A-Levels. She moved up to Senior Office Assistant in 2011, and again to Practice Assistant in 2013. Amy has completed her BTEC in chambers administration, passing each Unit with a distinction. She lives at home with her family in Kent. She is a keen reader, and loves a bit of Magic FM.
