The Legal Information Team is similar to an information department in a solicitors’ firm. We manage library and access to online databases, find legal information (cases, legislation, articles, reports etc), produce bundles of authorities for court, and carry out more substantial research. We collate daily current awareness bulletins, covering Matrix’s major areas of practice and administer the freelance research panel.

Anthony FaircloughAnthony is responsible for the development of our legal information, library and online current awareness services. He joined Matrix in 2005 and was previously a technical writer on 'Halsbury’s Statutes of England and Wales'. Before that, he worked as editor of the 'Revised Laws of the Falkland Islands', 'Falkland Islands Law Reports' and as assistant to the Islands’ Law Revision Commissioner.

Daniel RuddDaniel adds paralegal support to the legal and library information enquiry service, and contributes immigration, competition, sport and environment content to the current awareness intranet. Daniel previously worked at a solicitor’s firm as a business intelligence analyst. In his free time he likes to cycle loops in the home counties or to the coast.

Anita DaviesAnita supports the legal and library information enquiry service, as well as adding human rights, international, EU and prison law content to the intranet. She is also involved in developing Matrix’s online resources. Prior to joining Matrix, Anita was the Matrix/Olswang UKSC blog administrator, and has recently completed her Bar Vocational Course at City Law School. Anita previously worked as a Public Information Officer at the United Nations Relief Works Agency in Jerusalem.

Mohona BiswasMohona supports the administration of the library and is responsible for adding to the corporate and commercial, crime, education, health and Matrix current awareness intranet. She is currently studying Law at Brunel University, and is excited to be working within the Legal Information Team as part of her placement year. Her interests include criminal and discrimination law.
