The Administration and Reception team are responsible for finance, facilities, IT, traineeship, HR and reception as well as getting the barristers to court on time and generally ensuring that Matrix as a whole runs smoothly.

Lindsay HowellLindsay joined Matrix in May 2006. She previously worked in the Chancery Listing Office in the High Court. She has responsibility for a number of areas including human resources, information technology, premises management and traineeship. She manages the Office and Outdoor Assistants, the Facilities Assistant and Reception. Lindsay is a keen Arsenal fan and has a cat named Theo after her favourite player!

Carrie HazeldineCarrie is the newest member to join the Matrix team and is now working alongside Yusuf on Reception. Carrie is also fairly new to London having moved here 2 years ago from her parents in Leicestershire. Previously she worked for a newspaper in London as a Sales Administrator and has a background in design, having studied Graphic Design and Illustration in Lincoln for 3 years, but opted for a complete change in career. Carrie still enjoys Illustrating as a hobby.

Yusuf RichardsonYusuf is one of our receptionists and has been at Matrix since 2006. Yusuf is responsible for meeting and greeting clients, answering the telephone and arranging couriers. He is currently studying sociology and history at college. In his spare time he enjoys reading and playing basketball.
Facilities Assistant
Jim WrightJim joined Matrix as Facilities Assistant in September 2009. Prior to that, he worked at the Communication Workers’ Union and studied at Leeds University. Jim is responsible for things like maintaining the meeting rooms, ordering stationery, overseeing health and safety and resolving basic IT queries. In his spare time, Jim is a keen DJ and club night promoter.

Catherine SmithCatherine is Personal Assistant to Lindsay Scott, Chief Executive. She joined Matrix in July 2009 after completing her legal education at university and the College of Law. Catherine’s role includes diary management for Lindsay Scott, general administration and providing assistance with marketing and events.

Amy CrittendenAmy joined Matrix in October 2006 as an Office and Outdoor Assistant after completing her A-Levels. She is the longest serving of our 3 Office Assistants. She lives at home with her family in Kent. She is a keen reader and loves a bit of Magic FM.

Nick HowellNick joined Matrix in September 2009 in his first job in the law profession after completing his A-levels. He lives with his family in Hornchurch in Essex, plays the guitar, supports Arsenal, enjoys haircuts, the smell of freshly-cut grass and long walks on the beach.
