The Administration and Reception team are responsible for finance, facilities, IT, traineeship, HR and reception as well as getting the barristers to court on time and generally ensuring that Matrix as a whole runs smoothly.

Lindsay ClarkeLindsay joined Matrix in May 2006. She previously worked in the Chancery Listing Office in the High Court. She has responsibility for a number of areas including human resources, information technology, premises management and traineeship. She manages the Office and Outdoor Assistants, the Facilities Assistant and Reception. Lindsay is a keen Arsenal fan and has a cat named Theo after her favourite player!

Annie BargioneAnnie joined Matrix in 2011 as Marketing Assistant and PA to Lindsay Scott. Her role includes managing Lindsay’s diary, responding to correspondence, taking minutes, and helping with marketing and events. Before joining Matrix she studied Mandarin at Leeds University. A home-lover at heart, she enjoys knitting, reading and baking.

Laura SandwellLaura joined Matrix in 2009 on a freelance basis, providing assistance around the practice room. She decided to stick around and now works on reception whilst continuing her legal education. In addition to working front of house, Laura has taken on various responsibilities for other teams and also contributes to the UKSC blog.

Carrie WilleyCarrie joined Matrix from a newspaper in London where she worked as a Sales Administrator. She also has a background in design, having studied Graphic Design and Illustration in Lincoln for 3 years, but opted for a complete change in career. Carrie still enjoys Illustrating as a hobby.

Tristan KerrTristan moved to London from Australia in June 2009. He previously worked in the insurance & horticulture industries in Australia. Tristan is currently studying a BA Management at Birkbeck. He is responsible for the maintenance of the building, dealing with IT & telephone issues, health & safety and maintaining stationery stock levels.

Amy CrittendenAmy joined Matrix in October 2006 as an Office and Outdoor Assistant after completing her A-Levels. She is the longest serving of our 3 Office Assistants. Amy recently completed her BTEC in chambers administration, passing with distinction. She lives at home with her family in Kent. She is a keen reader and loves a bit of Magic FM.
