She has a particular interest in issues relating to freedom of religion and religious
discrimination
. Her book 'Freedom of Religion, Minorities and the Law' (OUP 2007) deals with a wide range of civil practice areas affected by religious issues.
Samantha is a member of the Bar Human Rights Committee and has been involved in many rule of law projects carried out by BHRC including a three year FCO funded project in Afghanistan. She has also carried out training on the ECHR in a number of former Soviet Union states.
