Community Care and Health Law Claimant RoundtableGo to all events

As you may be aware, the Law Commission is undertaking a review of adult social care law.

The objective is to provide a clear, effective and modern legal framework so lawyers and others can be clear about rights to services and which services are available. The consultation paper will be published by the Law Commission in February 2010, setting out detailed proposals for law reform.

The Community Care Group at Matrix invites you to a claimant roundtable on Wednesday 24 March 2010 (5.30 - 7.30pm) to discuss the Law Commission’s proposals as part of the Law Commission’s formal public consultation process. Law Commission representatives, including the lead Commissioner on this subject, Frances Patterson QC, will make presentations, but the main focus of the evening is for like-minded practitioners to share their thoughts on the proposals.

Claimant roundtable events at Matrix are an opportunity for solicitors, NGOs and other stakeholders working on the side of claimants/service users to share ideas and experiences on current issues over a glass of wine and nibbles.
