Areas Of Practice Commercial Law Speeches, Articles & Books Notable Cases What Others Say		Commercial Law Notable Cases  Yukos Oil Co v Financial Services Authority London Stock Exchange (2006) Clare Montgomery QC appeared in this challenge to the floatation of Russian oil group Rosneft on the London Stock Exchange which incorporated elements of public law, commercial law and criminal law.  Three Rivers DC v the Bank of England (2004) The case concerns the statutory responsibilities of the Bank of England in relation to BCCI, which collapsed in 1991. Several Matrix members have been involved in the Three Rivers litigations.  Chellaram & Anor v Chellaram & Ors (2002) Anthony White QC appeared in this case regarding conflict of laws - the jurisdiction of an English court under Brussels Convention Article 5 (6) and CPR 6.20 in relation to foreign trusts.  Bermuda Fire and Marine Clare Montgomery QC appeared for the claimants in the trial of this litigation.  Aldi Stores v Holmes Buildings (2003) Hugh Tomlinson QC appeared in this case concerning limitation issues in a negligence claim against consulting engineers.
